About the Prayer Line for Jesus
Our Mission
The Prayer Line for Jesus unites believers in a supportive community, dedicated to interceding for pastors, leaders, and souls worldwide. Rooted in the vision of the late Mother Mamie Moody, we strive to uplift and encourage each other through consistent prayer and spiritual growth. As she wisely reminded us, “Whatever you do, don’t stop praying.” Together, we are committed to making a meaningful impact through prayer, standing strong in faith until the Lord’s return.
Our History
Before the foundation of the world, God chose the late Mother Mamie Moody as the visionary behind The Prayer Line for Jesus. The vision came to life on October 20th, 2014, with a mission to intercede for pastors, leaders, and souls across the globe.
The roots of this prayer movement run deep. Under the leadership of the late Bishop Willie L. Smith, the late Elder Joseph Moody, and Mother Mamie Moody, early morning prayer sessions began around 1980 at Christian Pentecostal Church. What started with a small group at 6 AM grew significantly over the years. Even before these gatherings, fervent prayers were lifted in the basement of Bishop Smith’s house. Mother Moody, a devoted prayer warrior, was on fire for God, and after Elder Moody’s passing, she received the vision to continue praying for souls and leaders everywhere.
Now, nine years later, The Prayer Line for Jesus continues to thrive, powered by dedicated prayer warriors from across the nation. We are committed to moving forward in prayer until the Lord’s return.

Memory Verse of the Month
Each month, we focus on a specific verse from the Bible to meditate on and incorporate into our daily lives. For August, our memory verse is:
Acts 1:24
“And they prayed and said, ‘You, Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen.’”
As we reflect on this verse, let it guide our prayers and remind us of the importance of seeking God’s wisdom and direction in every decision.
Events
Recent Events:
This past Friday, The Prayer Line for Jesus held its first Online Revival, themed “…for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14). The event was a tremendous success, with prayer warriors from across the country coming together in worship through prayer, scripture, song, and powerful messages. Mental health and spiritual growth were key focuses, as we sought to uplift and encourage one another in these challenging times.
